Ben Cowen died in a paragliding accident on the 8th of January 2017. He was a father, a husband, an adventurer, a lover of fun, a risk taker, a business whiz and the life of the party.

I was told about Lahra Carey’s speech on the day she delivered it. The sports journalist Ash Browne witnessed it live at Springvale cemetery, and said that it was one of the most extraordinary speeches he’d seen.
