Vale Ron Joseph

Our guest on episode 36 of the podcast, Ron Joseph, died this week aged 77. He was a legendary footy administrator for the North Melbourne Kangaroos, and he gave a great eulogy for Lou Richards.

I spent two hours speaking to Ron Joseph in his hotel room last year. He’d been on my Speakola hit list for a while, because I had a real affection for his eulogy for Lou Richards, which had an old world footy charm that belonged to the Bertocchi hams and Jason Recliners era of World of Sport.
